Yes, I too think it is unlikely. For one, who would have the authority to ban an activity such as this throughout the High Street? The police? They have not banned it anywhere else to my knowledge.Every year I read stories of Muslims apparently being offended by the presence of poppy sellers. I have to say that I have been selling poppies on the streets for many years and on the very few occasions that I have received abuse it has been from (invariably white and one assumes ostensibly Christian) anti-war protestors who for some reason seem to assume that I am pro-war. Some Muslims buy poppies, others walk politely by.Please treat stories like these with the contempt they deserve.
