where would you be able to sell a 2nd hand mobility scooter

My father has unfortunately passed away and I have advertised in shops and morrisons - he has a brand new scooter, unused and not only am I advertising it half price, it is gathering dust and depreciating in value.  The B.A Williams Chemist in Albany Parade only sell wheelchairs, commodes etc., All the regulars at Jenny's seem to have one, and I nearly get knocked down the high street by them - so what am I doing wrong ?  Any advice

You could try putting it Chiswick W4 and Ealing Today forums. You could also contact Age Concern to see if they have any suggestions. If you have a local day centre one or shelterd housing/care home of the users might be interested. Good luck.

I know he bought it at a ridiculous price and its a bit of a roadster, so could hardly manoeuvre it out of the house with his COPD. 'shame really that things depreciate so much !!!

EBay?You might be able, if it is in good condition to get an offer from the original suppliers.They fetch very little second hand as I know when I sold my mother's some years ago. If you figure that many suppliers will sell a year or two old scooter for around 40% of the new price and they are obviously making a profit on that you get an idea of how little they are worth.
