Gbood news, good news... they're letting me out today...Day 10..from the busy Stroke Department at Charing Cross Hospital!Thank you for all your messages....very flattering..but much appreciatedAnd they have been a tonic. Sadly no wi-fi in the Hospital..but chap in the next bed says he his phone is a hot spot...access to which I've bluetoothed!I am most grateful to the flotilla of staff here at CHX, the nurses, doctors and consultants...originally from all corners of the world..and don't they work well as a team. Most impressive team efforts. So sad to see badly harmed stroke inflicked patients.I promised to cut down on the cream cakes and mince pies and in fact everythting where sugar is hiding!Oh those violent vertigo attacks (and being sick) were horrid, and the speech slurring episodes, pins and needles in the upper lip and more.. Next time I'll not just wait for slow track appointment... but run to A&E.Interesting, being on the 9th floor I have views...but this last 10 days has mainly been misty all the time. But there are the Brentford Towers and the Kew Eye! and to the left the Gillette Tower. The view of most surprise is that of the Turnham Green Church steeple.... in front of Southall Gasometer!!Up the Bees. And thank you all. Back soon...with walking stick!
