Can anybody recommend a good GP in Brentford?

Hi All,I am moving to Brentford in a few weeks and need to register with a new GP. I'm moving to one of the new flats near Holiday Inn so anywhere around there or heading in the direction of Chiswick would be perfect!Thanks so much!

Thanks Anna I will look into this surgery too, however we are moving to TW8 postcode, so I'm not sure I will be in the catchment area. I will try anyway!

The Albany Practice is very good.David seems to have a problem but I don't think it's one for your regular GP.Get a life David. And keep clicking - it will make you live forever :)

Well there are three of us who have recommended the Albany Practice so we at least are satisfied. The practice also has a very friendly and able nurse 'attached'.

I find The Albany Practice to be excellent . I have been with them for years. The doctors are great, have time for you and I have never had problems getting referrals, tests etc.I am very satisfied.

I also use Dr Preeti Venkatesham and her papa at Chiswick Family doctors practice and have been with the practice for about 30 years (ouch). All the docs are fine and there is never a problem getting an appointment within a day or 2.Even the receptionists are friendly!!!

I live in Brentford and moved here a few years ago and I cannot recommend Dr Preeti Venkatesham highly enough!! Her surgery The Chiswick Family Doctors Practice is in The Chiswick Health Centre on Fishers Lane, Chiswick, W4 1RX which she runs with her father. She is by far the best doctor I have ever had!!! Have a look on NHS Choices that's how I found her, there is all good reviews apart from one review the last time I looked but I just think the person was being a bit of a grump because I have never had a problem and I have been registered there nearly 3 years.

I'm with the Albany Practice too. All of the doctors seem good although I ask for the same one where possible now, largely because you build a kind of rapport through doing that. There can, however, (as most places it would seem), be quite a long wait for a routine type of appointment.

Go to Brentford Health Centre,next to the station. Choose the Albany practice. You can see any doctor. I like Dr Crowe
