Jewellery Repairs?

Hello all, Just wondering if anybody could recommend a good reputable jewellery repairer locally? My engagement ring needs some attention but I'm terrified of taking it 'just anywhere'.Thanks in advance.Katie

I always use Kay's up South Ealing Road - very quick and reliable.

You couldn't do better than Guess's at the top end of Whitton High Street, they will look at your ring and would advise you on the best thing I'm sure. You could always give them a call first?

KatieWhen my wife broke her wrist last year her wedding ring had to be cut off and was not only cut but badly bent out of shape. I was quoted 'silly' prices locally to fix this (although I would probably have paid anything to keep my beloved happy).I found an online service called The Jewellery Doctor based in Dundee. Not only were they fast, around half the price of local jewellers but the quality of work was superb and you honestly could not tell that the ring had even been damaged.http://www.jewellerydoctor.co.uk/
