I don't think you can go wrong with any produce from M&S...Yes, Greggs do make a lovely bread pudding..my Mum says it tastes just like my (late) Gran used to make.The Trevor family have stocked up on Co op, M&S and Morrisons mince pies,so hopefully, no one will be disappointed.....Happy Christmas to all..even Mr Grumpy(I don't know who you are, but as long as you get my message, I know I've done my bit to try and bring you festive cheer!!)

"... Morrisons Signature Mince Pies are not bad."We've tried most mince pies and we think M&S Luxury Deep-filled mince pies are about the tops.  I'm have a few now as I write!  Happy Christmas to everyone including Mr.Grumpy!

Greggs do a very good Bread Pudding, very old fashioned but rather tasty.And Morrisons Signature Mince Pies are not bad. Their cheaper ones are a bit too sweet and gooey.Anyway, Merry Christmas to all, even those I'm grumpy with!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015.Jim, I will have to try the Iceland mince pies (not shopped there before, maybe I am missing out??)My friends mum who has been told to go easy on the sugar, has suggested we try Co op mince pies £1 a packet, not a lot of sugar and very tasty..And my last word on mince pies..Greggs in Brentford, sold me some I could have done with a nutcracker to break..nice once you do get to the filling!!

Thanks for your greetings and messages.  Enjoy those flaky puffed pastry mince pies.I hear Iceland's were deemed best from the supermarkets... but my favourites used to made by Ian at Plum Duffs.. in Southfield Road but I have to give them a miss for the moment.Thanks and cheers to Kath for sorting the Forum out behind the scenes.Could we have some snow flakes please!

My good friend Ian Silver wishes you a great Christmas.Don't worry about the minced pies - just make sure they are good quality. Preferably organic but definitely not cheap/processed/fast food rubbish.Food is the key (and some nice booze methinks).Have a good one Jim. Love you xx
