Bloke on bike looking in cars, Clifden Rd, Brook Rd S

He's probably gone now as the football is over but if you see this bloke please call 101. He's riding on the pavement and openly stopping and gawping in cars so should be easy to spot.

Have to take into account traffic and congestion.Even with Blues and Twos on, emergency vehicles cannot get through Hounslow's often blocked junctions.There is also the increased risk of cars racing longer distances in very urban areas putting the odds of an accident into a high risk. Not fair on the Police or on those who could be caught in the situation.

Obviously the point I make is that if the Police can be at a crime scene in 8 minutes I would have thought that to be  adequate. Obviously if staff 'numbers' prevent this, it would be another debate but the 'distance' is not an issue here.

AA Routemaps calculate Distance: 3.9 miles Time: 0 hr 15 min so I would think the police could do it in about 8 minutes which is a good service

Had a leaflet this morning. Seems a car has been stolen in Grosvenor road.Leaflets a bit confusing. It does not identify the make of vehicle .It also suggests a time of 15.00 and 14.00 hrs on the 2nd or 3rd of Jan.Presumably that means the car was parked on Friday 2nd at 3pm and found missing on Saturday 3rd at 2pm.Kind of ties in with the reports here of people wandering around clocking cars.No names on the missive but the Serious Acquisitive Crime unitPolice contact number is Hounslow Police station ( Yes. 20 mins away!!)0208 247 6651

There have been quite a few having a good look in cars and through windows in Lateward road and Grosvenor road. Last 7 or 8 days in particular. Not just on bikes but on foot. Trouble is they are gone before one can get a good look at them.A few are congregating near the rear of the new houses in Brook road. But they are not actually doing anything wrong.
