Schools in Brentford

Dear AllCan anyone please advise me on schools within Brentford. When I am looking at the Ofsted report, there inst really many in Brentford that stand out. There are some good ones, but outside the catchment. Its a bit strange....

Full marks to Sir David Bell - who yesterday - said it was high time politicians of all persuasions stopped interfering in our schools."Education policy is still driven by short-term firefighting, ministerial personalities and electoral politics"."We must end the ridiculous situation where some ministers feel compelled to sit in their offices drafting maths and science curricula - particularly ridiculous if they have never taught a class of children or young people in their life".The government in response called Sir David "a bureaucrat".This is a man who has years of educational experience behind him. As one journalist commented "They wouldn't dare tell surgeons how to do their jobs, so why tolerate it in education?" Quite.

Sorry, I really can't be bothered to look at all the tables again but from what I remember, the Green Dragon results weren't at all dissimilar to the Strand on the Green results, were they?
