Tragic accident on A4

Very sad news on the front page about the young man who was tragically killed on the A4 this weekend, but is the time of the accident given in the report correct?Yesterday (Saturday) afternoon I witnessed an air ambulance coming down to land in roughly that area, following which there were immediate build-ups of traffic all around.  Could have been a different incident of course, but if not then this happened at around 4pm yesterday and not in the early hours of this morning as reported.

VanessaThat was a different accident entirely.  What happened there, I believe, was that an ambulance jumped the lights at Busch Corner whilst answering an emergency call and was hit by a car and propelled into a van.  So three accidents, regrettably.

Yes, we got caught in a sudden build-up of traffic on Friday, early afternoon, ambulances at Busch Corner though, that is awful, to have two accidents.

Thanks, that explains it.  The helicopter did indeed seem to landing in the vicinity of PC World.

There were two separate incidents on the A4 over the weekend, one on Saturday afternoon near PC World and one early on Sunday morning further west, which was fatal.
