Trico-Folberth

There will be a reunion of Trico's at The Inverness Lodge Boston Manor Road Brentford. ( Next to tibrary ) On May 22nd @ 2000. All are welcome. Each year more and more people are attending. if you used to work for Trico or knew someone come along and have a great evening. I will remind you all closer to the date.

Thank you all for your comments, and I will past them on to Roy Green who has arranged the trico reunion for a few years now. On the point of the venue, the Inverness Lodge hires the venue to Roy for a peppercorn charge as the organisers have no funds. So a charge on the door pays for the hire. On the night in question some of the members were going out on a stag do and started off in the club . Neither Roy nor anyone else had any control over this. I am as upset as any one who felt uncomfortable on the evening as 99% did enjoy  themselves.

Whereabouts in the company did you work Anne?  I don't recall you from my time there, maybe you were there at a different time.

So you do acknowledge that it was great that somebody local arranged the get-together? I think you should read who posts what more carefully and stop pointing the finger at people who actually, on this occasion at least, agree with you.P.S. You could actually offer to lend Dave a hand in 'getting this together' next year or would that be beyond you?

I haven't got a clue what you are talking about. I'm all for 'ordinary members of the public (organising) stuff' - just find it a trifle annoying when an attendee criticises somebody else's efforts. Like I said, the complainant could try organising it herself next year.Apart from that, what has the Trico-Folberth reunion got to do with the 'new MP living just around the corner'? Why wouldn't the great Trico-Folberth reunion, because of this astounding fact, be 'allowed to happen'? Why are you so outraged at people organising their own get-togethers?

This is what happens when you allow ordinary members of the public to organise stuff Anne.  With the new MP living just around the corner I'm surprised it was allowed to happen.  It's an outrage.

David - attended the reunion and was not impressed.  Ladies like to sit but can only do so in the 'hall' area.  Unfortunately the juke box was blaring out music.  When I asked, twice, to have it turned down was told that people had paid for it!!!!! so couldn't.  With that resounding retort in my ear and music blaring I left.
