There's a competition being run by the London Development Agency to name the bridge/walkway into the new Wembley Stadium, any thoughts?

Suggest Sir Bobby Moore(can someone be knighted posthumously?) way/bridge.He was so undervalued when alive.

Apparently someone has suggested 'Route 66' - rather clever isn't it.

One wag has suggested The Bridge of Sighs to reflect the normal reaction to an England performance! Personally I favour Bobby Moore Way which seems to be quite popular.

Ok...some serious ones!!1) Nelson Mandela Way...might encourage sportsmen to play the game..sportingly!!2) The Queen will be celebrating her 80th birthday next year...golly she was so young when I first saw her in Chiswick High Road in Feb 1952)..and therefore Elizabeth Way is a suggestion. I mean Victoria had railway stations and Australian states named after her.3) Any sponsors name..like coca cola..would be just dreadful.

I think they'll pick something traditional such as Wembley Way or maybe Wembley Gate (way) What's the odds though that they seek a sponsor and it is Pepsi Path, Barclaycard Bridge, Coke Causeway, Carling Connection, Mastercard Meander, O2 Overthere.I'll get me coat.....

Good ones Gerry.....Try:Alistair Campbell's effing Way..Queen's Way.....(celebrating you know who's efforts)The 750 million that gotta Way..(didn't it cost that much?)Rous Way......in memory of Sir Stanley Rous (sp?)Empire Way...keep it the same.. as the word Empire does            have an inclusive feel to it in our multi-cultural nation.
