Meads Family

I have just found out that my grandfather is/was Bertie Meads. His father was Thomas Meads and his mother was Jane Sedgwick.  Bertie was living 15 Albany Road Brentford in 1901 and in 1928, 30 Brook Road.  I know it's a long shot, but can anyone give me information about the family and are their any living members, I can contact?Thank you very much for reading this.Peter Wise

" Thomas William Meads a Flight Engineer First Class unfortunately like so many died in Belgium in WW1,his name is inscribed on the War memorial outside Brentford library"and his service record can be found on Findmypast athttp://search.findmypast.co.uk/search-world-records/british-royal-air-force-airmens-service-records-1912-1939he was a gasfitter.

Hi Peter    There's a stack of information on your family across the Internet,for instance typing into Google "Jane Sedgwick Brentford"  should lead you to cvsfamilyhistory,someone on there has done lots of research on your family.   There is also the excellent "bhsproject.co.uk",that stands for Brentford High St. Project. On this site you will find "I think" that one of your family, Thomas William Meads a Flight Engineer First Class unfortunately like so many died in Belgium in WW1,his name is inscribed on the War memorial outside Brentford library.  You have an interesting family history by the looks of it,you'll need a very large piece of paper to get involved in your family genealogy....it's very addictive !  Good luck.
