Just been told the sad story of the death and fire at the Allotments in Crane Ave.The person who was killed was an ex Ivybridge Resident called Brian Halliday...Very sad news.

Brian was a real character as anybody who knew him will be aware. Terribly sad news. Does anybody know the cause of the fire yet? One assumes there will be a full investigation.

Terrible thing to happen, we heard absolutely nothing when all this was going on...........this poor man's family and friends must be in a real state, dreadful tragedy.
