Waterman Park

HiCan anyone please help in ref to some issues there is with Waterman Park.Today and for the last few weeks, there has been times where I have seen yound adults smoke drugs together and cause some issues with users of the park. They are even smoking in the enclosed children play area, which is a big no no. Does anyone know who to contact, otherwise I will probably go to the police?thanks

What is the problem? Report it to the police. Get registration numbers or whatever, who cares.Go out and confront them yourself; you'd be surprised how a nice "hello" can help.Drugs? You need them to live here :)  (joke)

I know some poeple dont want it, but they really need to fast track the new Boat Marina, as they need to update the park to clean the mess and set some rules. Calling 101 is the only option, as if there is an increase to the park, then the police will actually do something about it, due to the statistical increase of call outs to one area....shame it has to come to this, because of a few people....

I sometimes take my dog to Waterman's Park, and pick up the poo, and yes i have seen drug users and dealing going on.  It is an appalling mess as well, rubbish and mess strewn everywhere.Please clean up. thanks

RaymondI have lived in Ferry Quays for about 6 years and have never once seen anything that looks like drug dealing going on here.I attend the Syon Ward police liaison panel and the subject of drug dealing has never been raised by either the police or the community representatives however perusing the Brentford ward website here:http://content.met.police.uk/Team/Hounslow/Brentford it seems drug dealing is one of their three priorities and they are taking a number of steps to combat it (rather than 'giving up')There are contact details there which are for the local team rather than using 101 or whatever so may be worth pursuing.

Exactly my thoughts Raymond. .thats why you see so many on bicycles..much easier to get 'lost' in tiny back streets as it's also harder to identify a bicycle than a car.You have to think of these things sadly and yes, you have to think of your family abd their safety.We don't need any Miss Marples doing a bit of detective work!! Give any help to the police or crimestoppers from the safety of your armchair and let the properly trained do the rest.

We have reported it many times but living so close to this is risky.To be fair it has been followed up before but not of late.There does seem to be a new wave of these sorts locally.The other issue is it is just what one sees. One cannot be absolutely sure. I am not going to approach these types and search them. Nor am I going to follow their cars or make my self obvious when taking a reg number.The fact is they are very streetwise and I could easily get followed home is spotted observing them. I cannot risk that on my familyIt's what happens, so in my opinion it's something that police need to deal with covertly .What helps them is information of what does get seen where and when .Maybe the neighbourhood watch need revitalising.

We need proper police on the street like we used to have. No good having what my sister refers to as wannabes who have very little power..If anyone is tempted to take car registration numbers etc be discreet please for your own safety.Behind these kids on bikes are some evil thugs ( I don't speak from experience you understand, I just love to watch stuff like The Sweeney etc )

if you see all this going on why don't you take their  registration number and be a bit of a Sherlock Holmes. I detest these people because they ruin good communities and turn them into no-go zones. I have noticed the low-life druggies in the Charlton house car-park they really are the lowest of the lowest.

Watermans, Albany road,behind Charlton House, the kid playground in St Paul's Morrisons Car Park and all around Ferry Quays.It's looks like low level stuff but if you watch from a safe point There are expensive cars doing the drops, Usually Range Rovers and Mercedes.It seems that the Police have given up as this has gone from the odd " Did I just see what I think I saw?' to being quite brazen.And no, It is illegal and it should not be tolerated as someone, somewhere always ends up a victim.

Sharon I am sorry to say that there is a lot of filth in  this town and I am sorry to say drugs is a big problem. David has to phone 101 police hotline and hopefully he will get some help. There are a lot of drug runners on bicycles I have seen them in my road, but the police should be doing more.

I would contact the police. Ive seen what I assumed was drug dealing in Mac Donald s car park. I mentioned it to a member of staff but doubt if anything was done. We don't need filth like that in our town. And near young children? Do the right thing David. The police are probably the only people that can and will do something about this for us all
