Has anyone been in touch with or heard from Jim Lawes, hope he is recovering well from his stroke.

So good to hear from you Jim, as it were, and very glad you have been well looked after at the hospitals mentioned. I won't be at The Griffin as still not mended myself ( fell over at work nearly a year ago and broke  my shoulder ), but I hope you all have a great time and Jim I'm sure many will be offering to buy you a drink. ..please make sure its a soft drink, you need to keep looking after yourself.

A slowed down, hobbling and often fatigued JL is still aboutand making much progress. Some say I haven't changed at all!It's a struggle to knuckle down to admin and the days fly by.I'm flattered and much appreciative of the concerns of Forum readers and friends...and am grateful to the fine dedicated staff at West Middlesex and Charing Cross Hospitals who sorted me out.  I'm luckier than many of my fellow patients and I pray for their full recovery.The Brentford landscape is so fast changing these days ..it's full of interest...and look forward to buzzing around again soonest. I noticed on previous post about TW8 meet up at The Griffin, Jim Lawes replied on 27/3 that he would be there??? I hope he is ok. Never met him but his input to this forum is invaluable and he is sorely missed.
