So much for Isleworth residents then.......

Small piece in the Rich. & Twick. Times this week. 'Updates on the World Cup's impact on the surrounding area will be available via Richmond Council's website. Additional drop-in sessions will be held in June and July to keep residents informed about any disruption caused by the tournament, that will see 10 rugby matches held at Twickenham stadium during September and October'.Council cabinet member for environment and communities Pamela Fleming said: "We are working with the organisers and TfL to try and minimise this disruption and bring benefits to the area. I encourage residents to sign up for the updates".Oh! So like our own dear council - NOT! We get one pathetic officer of a meeting in May, what a bunch of useless prats they are. Exactly who does represent us?????

This bunch are pathetic.Rugby World Cup Hounslow welcomes Rugby World Cup 2015Hounslow will be welcoming the world next year as a proud close neighbour of the Rugby World Cup 2015.Ten of the tournament’s matches are being staged at Twickenham, the home of English rugby, which is on the borough’s doorstep.Rugby World Cup is the third largest global sporting event. Between 18 September 2015 and 31 October 2015 there will be 48 games at 13 venues. More than two million fans in total will watch the matches in stadia across the country, and in Cardiff, as well as an expected global TV audience of more than 4.2 billion. Hounslow is looking forward to giving a warm welcome to the many hundreds of thousands of fans that will descend on Twickenham from around the world. The borough is also hoping the Rugby World Cup will encourage more local people to take up the sport. You seem very touchy this morning perhaps theres an election coming up?The problem is that Richmong are obviously so much organised for this major event then Hounslow are and local residents in our Borough are still mostly in the dark regarding how this will impact on them

Not sure what your problem is here.There's nothing in the Richmond and Twickenham Times about Hounslow I suppose, but there is plenty of info on the website here:http://www.hounslow.gov.uk/index/leisure_and_culture/rugbyworldcup.htmThere are also at least 4 meetings planned
