The Royal Oak

Tried out the newly refurbished Royal Oak in Worton Rd. last night. Have no hesitation at all in recommending you give their restaurant a whirl. It was very impressive, good food, piping hot, and good service. The surroundings are extremely pleasant and for a Wednesday evening trade was steady, we shall certainly be going again now we have found this little gem on the doorstep.

The Royal Oak in Worton Road is very good now. We have eaten there a few times and never been disappointed. Pleasant,  friendly staff too. (and I do like my pint of Pride)

So there are two pubs named Royal Oak in the area....one for the rugby crowds in Worton Road...and the one we had been discussing on the corner of Griffin Park.

It really was so nice and the prices were competitive too, and a decent cup of coffee to boot!

Yes I agree and so much better then it was before when the previous owners ran it in to the ground or at least thats what it looked like they were attempting to doI believe the current owners also owned the London Apprentice or were at least the managers there so they have a well earned reputation
