Coach and Horses London Rd

We went there for a Sunday Roast yesterday afternoon and have to say it really was excellent if just a tad expensive and would highly recommend itRoast Beef with all the trmmings and an enormous Yorkshire Pudding for the main and a delicious mackeral pate with home made bread for a starter

Isn't it just! You'd think they'd be only too glad for people to go there, they'd better watch out the Royal Oak in Isleworth is also excellent, and cheaper and highly recommended.

With so many public houses closing down through lack of interest or affordability how good that they can pick and choose they're customers.

£13 for a peroni and a Pinot Grigio! Apparently they don't want it to be a "session" pub......... God knows who could afford a session in there! Very friendly and helpful staff, but, had a roast there.......... Inedible :(

To be honest because of the drink prices we left after just two and went to the Isleworth Working Mans Club afterwards as its far cheaper

Schweppes - in the USA they also always ask what Gin you'd prefer, we've a lot to learn here.........

my curiosity was to see if the fact that pubs charge the most rediculous prices for their drinks drives their customers to only have one drink and find another, more resonably priced pub and also to drive the customer to bring in their own spirit or mixer... in both scenarios it would seem they are losing trade through charging too much. I know when i was alot younger we would sometimes take our own spirits or we wouldn't go into the expensive bars in the first place (that was 30 yrs ago)....£2.40 for a tonic?? that is a rip off.

£2.40 for a tiny bottle of tonic (I presume) is a rip off.Same with all the fruit juices. I love tomato juice but can't understand why the pubs don't just keep some 1 litre cartons in the fridge. Instead I have to order a double (2 teeny bottles) and it costs a bomb.I think it has to do with the brewery supplying said drinks and the landlords/tenants not having a choice in the matter.A shame because they will kill their own trade.

Yes the drink prices were expensive and the girls behind the bar although very friendly were quite slowA pint of Aspals Cider and a pint of Peroni was just under £10 but we did enjoy them in the lovely beer garden and enjoyed the sunshine so not all bad

We went there last Tuesday for our Wedding Anniversary dinner and we too were extremely impressed, the only thing was the price of the drinks, £2.40 for the tonic for my G&T!But it is a good menu and the portions were generous,agree would highly recommend.
