Who is saying what on building on parks?

So we have had several canvassers in our street.As I washed our car this evening I watched as they selectively chose doors to knock.So far every party has passed by our door.I wonder why?  Is our name in red and best avoided? I might ask a few tricky pertinent questions?  How dare I, a mere pleb clearly.So this time I approached them.  They did not want to know or answer questions on any topic other than recommend the candidate as being a 'super person' and 'concerned' for the area.So where do our new prospective candidates stand on issues like building on, selling and leasing off of parkland which Ealing is now wanting to follow Hounslow's precedent. ?I would dearly love to know, But the silence is rather telling.There's more chance of a sensible response from the Clanging manhole cover of Holland Gardens!

"So far every party has passed by our door." Selective canvassing is a tactic that is used when time is short as it is in a by-election. Its not an ideal way to campaign but it makes best use of scarce time and resources. In the by-election at which I was elected several years ago working six evenings a week for six weeks we still managed to "hit" only 25% of the front doors in my ward. You should be receiving leaflets from Patrick Barr, my party's candidate. The leaflets contain contact details for Patrick.

I live on Brent Lea and haven't had any leaflets let alone seen the whites of candidate's eyes!Hustings Tuesday 30th JuneSt Paul's Brentford. 7-9pm

Then again one should be careful not to start a dangerous precedent.  Just imagine if you elected one politician and got another one free.

I would love to know who's saying what on anything. So far, the only leaflet I've had is from the party that already has too many councillors. I might end up voting for a pizza shop at this rate!
