The WW2 Memorial on Isleworth Green

I passed this yesterday afternoon and its a real shame to see it surrounded by pots od dead flowers and general rubbishI cleared the tin cans and crisp packets but why has it been so neglected since the grand unveiling just before the last local elections?

Well done Henry,Did you receive any complaints or observations from other residents of Isleworth? Likewise when your crews are traveling around the borough do they take any note of other polluted areas with a view to clear them.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread, but having seen Henry Ellis' prompt reply to get the contractors to sort out the WWII Memorial, please would he ask them to clear-up St Paul's Recreation Ground in Brentford.  The state of the Ground is depressing, to say the least.  See the thread on this Forum.

Hi Paul,I work for Hounslow Council as a press officer and I noticed your thread on this forum. Our officers have spoken to the contractor we use to manage our parks and green spaces and asked them to make tidying the memorial a priority. Thank you for raising the issue.

No doubt it will be overshadowed by a statue to the greatness of a local representative shortly? Nothing would surprise me.
