Just to respond to the downers on the location of the TEMPORARY school site, my daughter goes to Reach Academy in Feltham. Primarily for the first two years it was located in Bridge House the old job centre location, surrounded by a stinking pond, overgrowth providing areas for all sorts of undesirables to hide in, did it deter me sending her there? Did it hell! As a catholic all my life, and my children raised as catholics attending roman catholic schools up until the end of her junior year, my daughter had no choice of a secondary catholic school as we live in Feltham we would not have stood a chance of a place at St Marks or Gumley with their strict admissions policies and locality criteria. We had little choice of schools to send my daughter to so chose Reach knowing that they hadn't even recevied funding. You know what it was the best decision of mine and my daughters life. She is now attending an outstanding school recognised by Ofsted. Give these new schools a chance, its a temporary location, its not going to be there forever and it gives us parents an opportunity to send our children to a school thats willing to give their children teh best possible start in life!
