Simon Anderson receives invitation to assist Labour Mayoral campaign

I note from Simon Anderson's Facebook page that he has received an e-mail from Isleworth Labour councillor Ed Mayne seeking his support for Tessa Jowell as London Mayoral candidate, and another from the local party asking for his help knocking on doors in support of the Labour campaign.Some might consider it odd that a man who is alleged to have campaigned for their opposition during the general election should be seen by the local Labour group as a potential helper.  Can anybody explain this bizarre and contradictory behaviour from these fine upstanding people?Over to you Jim... ;-)

JimClearly it doesn't concern you that certain of our elected local representatives are proven liars.There was a time when it would have done, but I guess now that you are part of the machine the imperative is to join in with the mutual back-scratching and to lash out at those of us who remain on the outside and who would shine a light upon it.I say this out of genuine friendship and respect Jim, but where Simon is concerned you are in danger of becoming a bully. I hope your brief does not extend to being my bully because I am made of different stuff entirely.

I still get e-mails from the Labour party asking me to take part in things and I haven't been a member for donkey's years, I suspect they just don't up date their records.
