Picnic on Brent Lea Rec

We are having a picnic in the park and would like as many people to come as possible. We have invited councillors and Steve Curran may even come. We would like to show him how right his decision has been to let us keep our rec!Bring your own food and drink. Weds, tomorrow, from 7.00pmHope to see you there. Please spread the word. This is very important and will demonstrate a united front. We certainly need one if we are to fight future projects.Thanksxx

I'll be there with my family.We spent a lovely afternoon at the Rec last Saturday enjoying the sunshine.Guess what! no poo or winos (perhaps they are on holiday!).One young Mum with a couple of kids followed us in looking for Syon Park and decided to stay a couple of hours. She was new to the area and did not know the Rec existed. Some signage on the gates would be helpful.
