Toxic car hazard Brent Lea

3 days ago a car was totally burnt out in the Brent Lea car park. It still has not been removed. I contacted the pollution dept at the council. Response.. 'Please can you kindly confirm the model, colour and if there has been any damaged caused to the vehicle?'Well, it's black, obviously and its melted engine doesn't look as if it will work.I have lost the will to live.

It is irresponsible to leave it there. 'An officer will look into it on Monday morning'. Oh good, that's alright then, so children can play in it over the weekend.

Comforting to know that the council are so much more adept at whipping in and commandeering a park though isn't it? Perhaps 'burnt-out' doesn't register with them?
