"Osterley" girl does well...... Seema Malhotra

Back in about 1980 in Thornbury Road North, where her father ..if I recall correctly... ran a haberdashery shop.. and was a very pleasant local insurance agent too...I recall his young 8 year old girl accompanying him on visits to my doorstep in Jersey Road. Always pleasant chats.We are all aware that Seema became the Member of Parliament for Heston and Feltham following the passing of Alan Keen...and now today we read in the Press that she has been "promoted to second in command in the Treasury team as Shadow Chief Secretary"Interesting place is Osterley, TW7!

Meandering around the Radio Timetable just now ...I see that the Feltham  and Heston MP is on Radio 4 at 8pm.

And to think she was the person at the CLP who completely b*ggered up one of our election addresses in spite of us correcting her - twice! Let's hope her grip on figures is better and that she listens to what people tell her!
