Update on parking on the market square.

I went into Verdict earlier and there were 3 blokes actively working on an old banger, bonnet up in the square. Can't local councillors look into getting some parking restriction signs put up and get some traffic wardens to give out a few tickets before we get someone opening a breakers yard there?

JaneI agree about the parking sign - yesterday there was even a car parked on it displaying a current pay and display parking ticket

The large 'P' for parking sign at the corner of the street running alongside Market Square doesn't help either.  Every day there is at least one contractor's van and one or more private vehicles parked there.  Why does no-one seem to care enough to do something about it?  Guy Lambert bravely said he was hoping to organise bollards........

Guy Lambert did say a month ago he would get this stamped out.  Don't see how until it is more obvious that it is not meant to be a free car park.

Any LBH councillor will do as far as I'm concerned. At least they could give the right one the heads up.

Unfortunately the only Syon councillor who posts on thsi forum is Theo and thats very rarely though we know of course that most councillors read our posts
