No, no-one is laughing, it's a disgrace, all it required was some humility and some attempt at listening to local people. This is what happens when you act like a playground bully, and then these plonkers wonder why people get stroppy. Have they any idea how frustrating it is when people who are supposed to represent us just stick their fingers in their ears and refuse point blank to see anything other than what paid officers tell them? They need to use their own local knowledge and contacts to balance officer's reports and what they actually know as residents themselves. But they are not doing that, they are being led by their noses and getting too many things wrong, and still they can't see it, how dim are they? I think everyone who lives in the borough would far rather work WITH the local council than be in a permanent state of conflict - we've all got far better things we could be doing. In all my years here, and 16 of them as a councillor, I have never known anything to get to such a pitch and believe me we had some punch-ups as Phil could testify to. We all are adult enough to understand that art of the possible as against things we just have to accept but I don't think any of the current problems are un-resolvable, we're listening and waiting councillors, are you?
