Arrrgh

Can anyone download the rubbish collection schedule properly? It refuses to work either on my MAC or iPad. I'm in zone A with a Wednesday collection. The text implies they'll collect tomorrow, but I suspect that might be cobblers.

That last reply was actually directed at Bernadette but didn't land in the correct place.  I think that the problem with LBH's collection compared to LBE's is of course that it is already more complicated with a fortnightly component.

LBE tend to put any changes to collections at holiday times on the front page of the website which is very useful - have you tried looking there with LBH?

And have those of you who couldn't download the info you wanted given feedback to the Council?  If you want a better service and they want a better recycling response you need to tell them.  Is there a feedback form for this?  Emailing your Councillors and making it clear exactly what the problem is may be better than complaining to someone who doesn't want to know! Susan gets Brownie points for being so organised.  :)

I didn't take your response amiss, Mark.Odd that you didn't get one. I live on the very edge of the borough and am often missed out of things (a joy at election time) but still always get these.

How not to engage with the public whose goodwill is needed if the recycling rate is to go up.I hope that you are giving the council feedback!

Apologies- I didn't mean to come across as sniffy- it's just the way my sense of humour works. I never got a schedule- which is why I was trying the council website. Which doesn't work on a Mac.

Actually I never got one of those things and therefore never have any idea of when collections will be for each specific thing. I just try and copy my neighbours, sadly they are often incorrect.

Some of us don't fancy wasting time texting the council for information they have already given us and then having to waste more time asking for help on a public forum and then when it is offered get unnecessarily chippy about it.

That's rather nasty considering that was a helpful suggestion, those of us who aren't so sniffy happily keep the notification on the fridge for reference. So therefore we know when our collection will be, whereas you don't!

I tried on my PC but it wouldn't work for me either.  If it helps we are in Zone B with a Tuesday collection and our next collection is tomorrow 31st, then the week after Thursday 7th Jan.
