Biggest thing Hounslow could do for its people and the future is show Mr Walsh the door. A costly political pseudo who has left a trail of disaster and will no doubt be off to pastures new as soon as this borough has been milked by his cronies.How did he get hired and by whom?

Good luck when you meet him but I doubt he'll be forthcoming in justifying as to why he and Hounslow are determined to proceed with the wholesale destruction of Brentford in the name of regeneration. Yes we do need an injection of new life but in a joined up plan with good infrastructure in place to nurture and develop Brentford in a considered way which benefits the existing and the new.

Interesting to see Brendon Walsh's message on the Invest Hounslow site - “The message to investors is a simple one: Hounslow remains a great place to invest and my team is tasked to facilitate development so they will do everything they can to enable a smooth process through planning and into delivery. 'every thing they can' - at what cost though?

And what about the ghost of Christmas Future:something in excess of 30 tower blocks, planted into every piece of spare space, doubling the local population, doubling the demand on services and roads, doubling the already illegal levels of air pollution,obliterating every ounce of history from an historic county and market town All being done in the name of profit for a few at the expense of the many.Oh how Mr Scrooge would chuckle.
