Queens birthday - steam train through Kew, Brentford, Syon Lane tomorrow

As part of the celebrations, the LMS Jubilee Class 5699 Galatea steam train will be chugging through London and Surrey On Thursday April 21st.The iconic steam train will leave London Victoria on Thursday - the Queen's actual birthday.It will pass through areas of west London, including Kensington , Acton , Kew , Brentford , Hounslow and Feltham , before winding its way through Surrey and back up to London Victoria again.

A little off topic but can anyone recommend a reliable place to get information on steam trains that run through Brentford station. My two year old boy would be extremely grateful to you.

That's a shame,That's bad luck for two steam engines to fail.  We see quite a few from here and often different ones, are they all out of Steam? We saw the train from the office but even the replacement vintage diesels looked very grubby. Some might say authentic!I wonder if the passengers "were Amused"?

I felt sorry for the young pupils from St Paul's who made the trip to Brentford station to see the train. I knew from this forum there would be no steam engine but the teachers didn't.

For anyone interested it's due to pass through Kew Bridge at 10.58 am and then on through Brentford, Syon Lane etc.
