Boston Manor Park

Brilliant news that Boston Manor House has won some lottery money.  What a shame then that this weekend the Park is host to a techno rave (whatever that is) and we are to have portable loos installed from Boston Manor Station to the Park and much of the park closed for most of the week.  Question is how much have the promoters paid for this event and who would get the money, the Council or Carillion ?

The preservation of our parks and open spaces is getting more and more difficult, so it's not surprising that this sort of thing is becoming more common. Parks like other public services have to pay their way - and whilst I'm sure many agree with you, it is hard to see what they can do to ensure we have these lovely green spaces to use for the rest of the year.
