Environment department have gone home and closed their phones

Need to book three sacks of shredding to be picked up on Tuesday.  Can't do it by email as they do not reply to emails.  The phone system tells you to use the web site and then cuts you off.  The operator cannot access a human nor give a voicemail to book it.  I have around 8 outstanding emails from the last couple of months, the last two around a month ago were to request one of their printed calendars.  The latest ploy is to not give you an acknowledgement for your email.

No. Not on Twitter and no plan to be.  Thought normal phone calls and emails would suffice.What does work is a note on the bag along with a friendly conversation with the front liners where we said we could not get a response from within.  No problem mate was the response with a lovely smile to boot.

The whole Dept is a discrace and Cllr Mann should step down and allow someone who knows what they are doing take over the role rather then pocketing 25k a year for constantly failingProblem is there is not the greatest pool of talent within the group is there?

Sarah if you are on Twitter it generally provokes a pretty quick response, certainly Hounslow Highways are pretty hot.
