Who the hell cares?

It only remains for some Labour think tank to come up with the idea of issuing a lethal pill along with a pension book.Still it has to be better than reaching 70 or 80 years of age before getting mugged by the local yobs on going to or coming from the P.O. for your weekly pittance. Or a burglar entering your home and beating you to death for a few shillings.

I agree, and he has gone awol from the Brentford forum as well. According to one of Vanessa's posts he was banned for something he posted on the Brentford Forum I think?

[i]I hope they win regular chunky Lottery grants, even if they don't shuttle bus loads of members up Snowdon![i/]I hope so to, because the most that this government will do for the aged is give them a 1 year bribe (no other word for it really)then recoup it with another Great pensions raid. The last similar raid was the great train robbery and they got 30 years in the pokey, whereas Gordy will eventually end up with a peerage?

This is very interesting George as we are having to venture into finding out about care arrangements for a relative.  The Help the Aged line, detailed in the articles and its links are useful.  My husband has spent hours researching web sites for information and has found Help the aged very supportive.  I hope they win regular chunky Lottery grants, even if they don't shuttle bus loads of members up Snowdon!
