White garden recycling sacks

I really miss being able to buy these from the library to top up our sacks, as and when we do the autumn cut backs.Plain daft not allowing people to buy extra capacity.  Wonder if the knock on your door clearance people are being used more as they have their ways of disposing of it all.

Philippa, yes.  They have stopped the extra garden bags that could be bought from the library if you need them for a gardening job.  The last lot I bought from Osterley library had been stored incorrectly as they were going yellow, as in degrading fast.Recently witnessed a big gardening job where it looked like everything was going off in a couple of very shabby vans with no markings, if you discount the dents and scrapes.  They could have been taking it all to the tip but everything went in the vans in big pieces, not cut up or chopped up to make room for more.We need our trees cut back and will have to take the debris to the tip ourselves, which will take a few trips.  Trimming then filling the extra white bags would have been a treat.

Yes, they are generally the ones who fly-tip.
