In May/June Hounslow Highways arrived to do the pavements where I live, so we had all the operatives, machinery etc. in place for several weeks. At the time I wondered why the whole estate where I live wasn't being done as a lot of the pavements were atrocious and it seemed to me to make good sense to do the whole lot. Nope - they packed up and departed having left the top part of the road not done, obviously didn't know where one road ended and another begun! This necessitated HH coming back to pick this small part up a few weeks ago - unbelievable. Now they are back again to do one more road adjacent to ours, so that's meant bringing all the stuff back to where they were a few months ago, why not do the whole bloody areaat the same time - instead of this to-ing and fro-ing? Totally bonkers, who does the programme of works? Sounds like something from The Apprentice, total f***wits, yet the Japanese can mend a bloody great sinkhole in a week!
