Power Cut

Most of Ivybridge has been without electric since just after 3pm

How does everyone deal with this?  I hope that everybody who is vulnerable has been registered with the relevant electricity company.  We had to deal with having the gas cut off recently and at least we can then use electricity.  It is not so easy the other way around.Here is the Scottish & Southern registration page:https://www.ssepd.co.uk/PriorityServices/

Yes..it went back on at 0239...just 7mins before the 12hr compo payout time

We could see from here that the tower blocks were all in darkness - are you all back on yet?

This is when you realise how much we rely on electricity for power.  After several power cuts a few winters ago we reinstated the fireplace, just in case, but I don't suppose that is an option where you live Simon.  How are you getting on with the cold?  Can you boil water for hot water bottles using gas?  Hope it is back on now.

Since 246pm its been gone, latest from electric company now is won't be back on till midnight
