We worked out that we only put the 2 sacks out 4 times a year and thereafter just on the occasional alternate week. The small garden does not produce that much waste. A bit gets composted although vermin and wasps nests has reduced that , the rest gets incinerated about twice a year. But it makes a profit as garden waste is tunred into a range of products and I do resent paying for it when some have massive gardens and others none. But, as mentioned, some have a child in a school and others several children in school,Those who have none do net get a rebate. So it should be inclusive. And the farce of just one waste site in this monster of a borough not even available to residents during the week is truly stupid.
