Well said, that Coroner!

Christopher Sumner, coroner for the ' Saddleworth Moor murderer ' who died this week, has said that he won't release the body until he is sure that the ashes are not buried up on the Moor.  Well done!

The man was horrible but he is dead and his body has to be dealt with, if only for hygiene reasons, so Glasgow asking the cities crematoria to turn him away is just posturing.

No, he wants to be scattered in his native Glasgow, which Glasgow is not keen on. In fact, Glasgow has asked the city's crematoria not to take him, which is just silly.
