Presumably they voted either Labour or Green last time, and will vote Labour this time, and therefore won't make much difference to the result.An interesting issue here is that just as you would expect Corbyn to be considered too far left by many Labour voters, you would equally expect Blair to be considered too far right by at least a similar number. So where did the votes come from for those three victories? Either disgruntled left leaning Labour voters supported him in spite of their concerns, or the Tories were considered so far right as to be unelectable, and it was their falling support that handed Blair power. If the latter is true, then how did we get to 2017 with the most right wing Tory government in living memory supposedly on course for a landslide victory? Either the British electorate has undertaken a fundamental shift to the right, or the opinion polls are being manipulated to present the required message.
