Blimey! The people in the HQ were obviously wet behind the ears know it alls who hadn't a bloody clue what were the burning questions in B&I. Mary McLeod probably knew more than them after being the M.P. previously - presumably that knowledge didn't count, no wonder the local workers were furious. I think the words 'strong and stable' will be the source of many a joke from now on. But this now all seems to be exactly how St. Theresa operated, her way or the highway, it was all me, me, me, so guess the buck stops with her, not a lot of consolation for her candidates. We got a couple of pieces of literature in the post from the Tories and that was it, against so much from Labour who canvassed here and came round to remind us to go and vote on the day.
