Car Trouble

Spotted a youth on a bike trying car doors at 0630 this morning. Corner of Brook Road South and Hamilton Road. He decamped when he realised I was watching him. Dark blue hoodie, dark trousers, black bike, slight build. Reported to 101. A reminder to  make sure you lock your doors and don't leave anything (even a paper bag) in plain sight inside the vehicle.

I've had a window smashed in Brentford also and a friends had his mirrors stolen also. Mine was someone walking past smashed  window then continued walking.

My friend saw someone checking cars early in the morning and dialled 999 by coincidence someone from a neighbouring road had also spotted another bod doing the same - both caught and convicted.Over the last two weeks both my youngest son and I have had our windscreens smashed in, both late Sunday/early Monday morning. CCTV being installed now, but what is wrong with these morons?

If you see him doing it and can duck away you can dial 999 as the crime is happening.A few years ago I saw two going along our road in the early hours trying doors in neighbours driveways.  Turns out that they had both been to court that day thinking they were going to get a custodial sentence and as they had been let out they had gone out to celebrate....they take money which obviously cannot be tied to a specific crime if they are caught so they have to be caught in the act.
