No 235 again

After a good run of late the 235 is no longer serving stops between the High St and Great West Quarter.Yet again the barriers at Sainsburys in the GWQ site have been damaged. This occurred yesterday.TFL say they expect the service to resume tomorrow at some point.As has often been the case with this i wouldn't hold your breath.

Very sad that the lone, lovely, mature tree that survived all the dust and turmoil of the building works at GWQ will be cut down to enable a bus to park outside the gym.  Our trees are so important and I just wish this new bus space could be designed so that the tree survives.  It deserves it.

The bus will be moving to terminate/restart on Ealing Road next to the gym shortly (in the autumn I believe)Meanwhile Barratts have told Steve Curran that the barriers will be back in action on Tuesday.

Barriers are often damaged. There was a cost associated with the initial installation and many further repair. There have been obvious disruptions to bus service due to the barriers not being operational.Is there a more cost effective and appropriate way to run this bus stop other than using barriers?
