Hounslow Pest Control

Just had a surreal conversation with this department. After some time on the 1 for this, 2 for that etc got to speak to someone to advise her that we have a creature in one of our internal walls - between bedroom and lounge - making a scratchy racket since three this morning. Not sure if rat, mouse, squirrel or bird, but 95% rat, I'd say. Can I identify it from the droppings? No, its inside the wall. But it is gnawing its way out. There's a small hole developing and we've put a plastic box with bricks on it in case of a breakthrough. Well unless it's physically inside the property, we can't make an appointment. Appointment? You don't have a emergency service? No, you have to make an appointment. Well what to do? When it comes out the hole, shall we put a little party hat on it, make it a little bed, give it some nice food and wait for you to turn up?To be fair, she did laugh at that. Meantime, can anyone recommend a good private pest control company hereabouts? Thanks

We gave one of those plug in noise deterrents to somebody in Victorian terrace with critters underneath, it worked.

I believe the rats are just visting - coming in from outside.  I used to be a garden designer/contractor and we built a lot of good quality decks.  We had to have the 'rat' conversation at the beginning of garden builds.  We also often disturbed rat colonies during works.  So I do understand a bit a bout rats and mice.  I also listened to the advice of the RatMan.  Next stage is being discussed on next visit on Thursday.  I also have to bear in mind that I have a jack Russell dog!!  He isn't doing his job very well, but that is probably why the rats aren't actually living in my house.  Onwards

I wouldn't recommend putting down bait as a first option as you might have them expire under your floor or in a wall which often smells very bad for several weeks and there is a chance of also getting a plague of flies enter your house. Did they identify where the rats are coming from?

Rat man came yesterday, and I have a pretty serious infestation.  How horrible.  But the company gave me some good advice and explained how I can deal with this in stages.  They also explained the various stages of the process.  Step one undertaken (putting down the poison).  West London Pest Control.

I have rat problem even though I have a jack russell.  So i have been recommended Gary at Ealing Pest Control.  He is coming next week, but can do emergency visits if required.  0797128476.  I think his company is called Ealing Pest Control.  Good luck
