Local boy done good..

We have a new author amongst us..one Phil Andrews who has just published his first book and is too modest to publicise it himself. It is entitled The Best Year of our Lives and there is a short article about it on the homepage. I bought a copy today and am looking forward to giving it a read, being a larrikin of the 70's myself.

For the next 36 hours only, the ebook version can be downloaded free of charge from Amazon at goo.gl/kcptpX.  Obviously I get no royalties from this but I have made it available for a brief time for those on a low or no income who genuinely wish to read the book.  The ebook can be read without a Kindle reader - just download the free software from the Amazon site and it will work perfectly well on your smartphone, laptop or desktop PC.Thank you everybody for the wonderful support which I been given since the book was published back in late July.

Thanks Keith, hope you enjoy the book.  I'd been working on this one for about forty years so the sequel might be a while in coming.Big thanks also to the forum editor for the news article.  Regrettably my efforts would appear to become less newsworthy the closer one gets to the Chiswick roundabout.  C'est la vie.
