The convoy with Concorde passed by in front of Gillettes at about 4.45.am..and turned right down Syon Lane to Busch Corner..being parked there till daylight.

This shop was his paint shop.Peter sold up and moved to Devon.

http://www.cluchey.demon.co.uk/Singles/isleworth-ait-thames-river.jpgIt does seem unfair..that over all the years that the public have been excluded from the riverbank.From Brentford Bridge, the river is in exclusive land owned by the Duke of Northumberland, then at the foot of Park Road a palatial residence hogs the corner. We are allowed to view from a 200 metre stretch in front of the London Apprentice..and then the view is hidden away from us again .The Nazareth House occupied another key area of the river bank..and then ..blow me down..the hard pressed students of the Maria Grey College ..or whatever it is now called..have all those beautiful grass embankments to themselves.See the image..click on..and see how we have been ..robbed!!
