Brentford Library Wall

Thanks for Myra for an entertaining and interesting post - Guy, you have competition!   Myra mentioned her visit to Brentford library.  I wonder when the library wall facing Windmill Road will be repaired?  It still looks awful.  The storm that blew down the tree and smashed the wall was months ago now.  The barriers placed there (to do what?) lie haphazardly in the undergrowth.   What a mess!  I thought when the library roof repairs were being undertaken, the wall was going to be repaired.  Councillors all (Myra, Guy and Mel) can we have an update, please?

We were all three on site this week complaining about the wall amongst other things.I raised this back in June when Carillion said they were 'putting together a bill of works'. Carillion are (I think) no longer involved and Mel was going in to meet officers yesterday so I'm hoping this can be quickly (!) resolved.Yes, I thought Myra's blog was great but she has declined to take over permanently :-(
