Perhaps the artists impressions don't do the design justice, but don't the proposed flats look as dull as dishwater? Bog standard blocks just plonked onto the waterfront. At least the flats at the Kew Bridge end of Brentford riverside and Ferry Quays have a bit of culture to their designs.
