Lucky you. Ed Mayne is an Isleworth Cllr and Cabinet Member in the current Labour Council. Once in power, he chose to flex his muscles as Cabinet Leader not in his own constituency of Isleworth, that was to come later, but by interfering in Chiswick. Our young Ed, was merely staying in his parent's large house with ample off road parking for 2 cars in Park Rd, Grove Park, Chiswick. That did not deter our enthusiastic Ed, he forced through a totally un-needed and unwanted CPZ in Park Rd and part of adjoining Staverley Rd. Now well over 2 years later, Grove Park still is suffering CPZ creep, road by road. Ed then moved on to Isleworth supporting the closure of Church Rd ignoring fierce opposition from many many local residents. This closure apparently causing untold havoc and traffic congestion in the surrounding roads. No wonder you don't see him - he probably dare not put his head above the parapet! Ed still a youngster has decided enough is enough and resigned from LBH to try again in his job as driver for SW Trains - lots of scope there for him to wreak more mayhem!
