By popular request - five sessions on Basic DIY from 6th June to 4th July. Do you know how to turn off your water, gas and electricity? Can you change the washer on your tap when it is squirting you with water? No? Then you need our Basic DIY sessions here at the Mission Hall - Monday afternoons from 1.15 - 2.45. See you maybe?

Hello Hilary,I am a local resident passionate about community development and particularly interested in girls and women's issues ie empowering girls to aim high and achieve their aspirations and not be deterred by society's gendered roles of what a woman can be. I have asked a few local women to join me in setting up a mother and daughter group. I feel there is a need to strengthen the 'Mother/Daughter' bond as mothers can be their daughter's best role models.I would like to link up with you and explore ways of working together. Unfortunately as I currently work fulltime, I am unable to come to the afternoon sessions. Please get in touch should you wish to explore this further.  Well, done for setting up this group. Its about time we did things for ourselves. I love Brentford and what it has to offer. You have my support.
