  Has the Brentford Farmers Market finally finished ?

I am happy to deliver more leaflets for June as well as I don't want to see this market end. Matt - please deliver them any evening after 6pm.Both myself and the wife were disappointed with May's market as there seemed to be less stalls and the Borstall meat guy wasn't there yet again so that involved a trip to Ealing market as well.

Jim, I did not attend the May market but a few of my freinds did.The impression they got was that the stall holders were down on the previous month.

Cider and all sorts of other things available June 4th. Am always happy to receive offers of help, people to deliver leaflets etc - had some kind offers last time which were happily taken up. Stay tuned for more news on the market's future...

Well I was there last time, and the Cider man said he'd see us back there in June, so no-one's told the stallholders!

Mark:I personally wasn't able to get along to the May Market...and thus am not sure how many stalls attended...and whether or not they did a reasonable trade.I did see an advert for the May Market (A5 size) at the Brentford Library but am not sure if posters were erected around the Town.Matt/the Editor had asked for some help with the organisation of the Event. I'm not sure if any volunteers came forward. A letter from Matt was published by the Brentford and Chiswick Times in late April...advertising the May event...and mentioned that poor attendence previously was caused by poor weather.In my view its a pity that the Organisers etc didn't get too involved in discussion with us on this Forum about our thoughts...even to answer the questions that YOU had previously raised....as responses would have been appreciated.Maybe they were too busy with the Election. Maybe they don't want to interact too much with this Forum about what they are doing or thinking. I understand it is organised by members of the local Labour Party (didn't they attend in large numbers at the inaugeral event)..so the matter is perhaps a bit of a closed shop.So..you ask.."has the Market finally finished?  Is that what you have heard?
